Today I went to Daiso!

And may or may not have bought a few things...

Because I find the lure of cheap crap valuable household items at an economical price irresistible, off I trotted to Doncaster. I'd been here before you see. Foolishly with a husband in tow, who told me I had five minutes. Five minutes? Seriously? So many things for $2.80. Five minutes was never going to be long enough. Still, I managed to grab a few things and knew I had to come back soon. Husbandless.

Food picks for bento boxes

Banana keepers that I could never buy because I have a juvenile mind and can't help but snigger inappropriately.

Chair socks?

Cute dish sponges. Still wouldn't make me want to do the dishes though...

And the more practical things that came home with me.

Because I truly needed more shiny new plastic ware.

And the sweetest tote bag (I'm trying to forget that I threw out about twenty green bags just the other day. I swear they breed in the boot of my car when I'm not looking).

A grellow towel.

Partly purchased for the writing on the back. I'm always watching out for pesky friction situations.

Enjoy your weekend everyone.

once again, a great post .... and a few giggles too!!

We have a few DAISO stores here, but everything is $2.00 which equals $1.50 AUD ... so looks like you pay a lot more for the same items than we do.

The Chair Sox are *very important*, didn't think so when we first saw them ... but everyone has tiled floors and the noise becomes unbearable in apartment living .... so sox are *very important*!!!

They also help with scratches.

Yep we have those *bananas* too .... I have never actually succumbed to purchasing said items ... but am told they are very *handy* :-)

Off to Borneo today, just till Sunday .. wnat to go see the Orangoutangs if we can.

enjoy your weekend!

What a fun place to go shopping. I also like the funny English translations on foreign objects. Definitely not somewhere you'd want to shop with a man in tow :)

Daiso is dangerous. I think I need to go back, there is always something to discover that I simply must have.

Also, I LOVE our banana boxes, especially now that bananas are the price of a small car!

Love it!! But see my husband's "5 minutes" is not interpreted as a regular clock worth of minutes, he knows he won't see me for atleast 20 & i do often say "alright, 15 but you keep the children". Love Posie

If we had these stores in the States I'd be broke. Target is bad enough!

Oh dear, I'll need help understanding the instructions on the last photo. Those manufacturers really have a knock out sense of humour, don't they? :-D
