Just when I thought the house couldn't look any worse...
off came the verandah, exposing even more rotten timber.
Oh well.
Things are on the up though. The new flooring has been laid and stained a rather fetching shade of Japan black, and the kitchen cupboards are almost done.
Just in time as we were all getting slightly cooped up. Living room as kitchen just doesn't cut it....
Hopefully the DIY building works will be over soonish and normal blogging activity will resume, because, guys, I miss you. Life's just not the same without my daily trips to Blogland. One more week perhaps and then time to get some craft on!
